Malaysia Representative or Malaysia Market Sales Manager â Aceh Hospitality & Tourism Market

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and well-connected hospitality sales professional based in Malaysia to represent our hotels and tourism products in Aceh, Indonesia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and growing inbound business from Malaysia, including leisure, corporate, government, MICE, group travel, and special interest markets.

Key Responsibilities

* Promote and market our hotels, resorts, and tourism products in Aceh to the Malaysian market.

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, wholesalers, OTAs, corporate accounts, government agencies, and event organizers.

* Generate room nights, group bookings, MICE business, and tourism packages.

* Identify new business opportunities and market segments.

* Conduct sales calls, presentations, networking activities, and participation in travel fairs and trade events.

* Negotiate commercial agreements and partnership opportunities.

* Prepare monthly sales reports and market intelligence updates.

* Work closely with the management team in Indonesia to achieve agreed sales targets.

Qualifications

* Prefered min 5 years of experience in hotel sales, tourism sales, destination marketing, airline sales, or travel industry business development.

* Based in Kuala Lumpur or the Greater Kuala Lumpur area.

* Strong network within the Malaysian travel trade industry.

* Established relationships with travel agents, tour operators, corporate travel planners, MICE organizers, and tourism stakeholders.

* Proven track record in generating inbound tourism business.

* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

* Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.

* Willingness to stay in Banda Aceh or Pulau Weh – Indonesia

* Fluency in English is required. Bahasa Malaysia is highly preferred.

* Experience with Indonesian destinations or hospitality products will be an advantage.

The ideal candidate is someone who already possesses an extensive network within Malaysiaâs travel and hospitality industry and is capable of immediately generating business opportunities for Acehâs hotel and tourism sector.
